This 1980 Puch Maxi moped is in beautiful overall condition, and in many ways could be considered a time capsule. The paint shines nicely, with only a small handful of imperfections. The seat is original, and is in beautiful condition. Many small touches are intact like the fender mudflap, decals, trim, etc. The most notable blemish is the scratches near the petcock.

All mechanical features are in WORKING condition. This moped operates the way it is intended to, including: headlight, tail light, brake light, speedometer, horn, and kill switch.

The engine fires right up and the bike cruises along at the intended 25-30mph (depending on conditions) speed. This is the 2HP model with the larger carburetor and intake. This moped is very well sorted and serviced. The tires are top of the line and are nearly new.

Please note that final carburetor jetting may be desired upon delivery. The moped is currently at high altitude in Denver, CO which could theoretically change "peak performance" if the moped is brought to sea level (a slightly larger jet size will be required). Several additional carburetor jets will be included with the sale.
